Aluminum Magnesium Carbon Brick

Aluminum-magnesium carbon bricks, called AMC bricks, are non-flammable fire-resistant products, made from several types of raw materials, such as magnesium, high alumina aggregates and carbon materials, by crushing, mixing, molding and drying. Alumina-magnesium carbon bricks are produced by adding MgO-containing components based on aluminum-carbon refractory materials. During the heating process, spinel is formed, providing good residual thermal expansion of the material, which makes it possible to make the seams of the lining bricks tight and reduce the penetration of slag.
