Introduction to Bauxite Clinker

Bauxite can be used as various high alumina bricks and their clinkers, and also widely used as fireproof or anti-corrosion materials in metallurgy and other industries, especially for the manufacture of electric furnace covers, blast furnaces and hot blast furnaces. The fireproof effect is very obvious, and its performance characteristics are better, than ordinary clay fire bricks.
Classification of bauxite clinker

- High-alumina bauxite of the first grade refers to high-alumina bauxite with an iron content of less than 2,2%. It is commonly used to make ceramics and high-quality building materials. Due to the low iron content the product quality is higher.
- Secondary high-alumina bauxite refers to high-alumina bauxite with iron content ranging from 2,2% to 2,8%. It is commonly used to produce building materials and advanced fireproof materials. Lower iron content results in higher quality products.
- High-alumina bauxite of the third grade refers to high-alumina bauxite with an iron content of 2,8% to 3,5%. Due to its slightly higher iron content, it is primarily used in the production of general building materials and base materials, such as bricks and tiles.
