Magnesia-alumina spinel bricks are made from magnesia-alumina spinel ((MgAl2O4, abbreviated MA)) as a matrix using high quality high purity magnesia and ore, containing Al2O3, by dosing, mixing, blank manufacturing, drying, roasting and other processes. Alkali refractory products are known for their superior thermal shock resistance compared to magnesia bricks and are widely used in cement rotary kilns, rotary lime kilns, open hearth furnaces, roofs of electric furnaces, etc..
